under 15’s footy , getting smashed by Marist college me and Tommy K , after getting so little action on the ball as a pigeon pair tucked in the forward pockets would pick up dirt and mud and camouflage our knees into action to not embarrass ourselves at the end of the game

Flying not so high
in Footy Fan Confessions
September 24, 2005. Eagles v Swans in the grandy, and also my 12th birthday. My Dad and I went to watch the game at my Aunt and Uncles house and I spent the entire walk there playing the team song out loud from my Samsung MP3 player and spent the entire walk home crying.
